The Farm approach to building brands and developing communications.
Farm together with Face – the co-creation planning agency – have developed a more agile, adaptive and continuous brand planning process that helps brands to stay ahead of the competition. We call it Adaptive Brand Planning.
Because we passionately believe in doing things ‘with’ people, not ‘at’ people, our process is designed to involve consumers at every stage making them integral to the development of insight, brand and creative strategy, ideas and communications.
By flipping the traditional model on its head, we dramatically speed up the process, and increase the odds of success because the output is delivered “with” and “of” the consumer, rather than merely checked by them at the end.
The socialization of brands has created an opportunity to build “social brand value”, which in turn demands a planning approach that is agile, and highly responsive to the fast changing consumer landscape. There is lots of talk and some action in this area, but what is lacking is a holistic “joined up” approach, and a way of measuring fully the benefit of this activity. Working with Face and their proprietary communities and real time research and planning tools we are able to listen, observe, check, rework and refine strategy in real-time.
We build bespoke teams of planning specialists from our team of 19 researchers and planners within our London Hub that best match the clients brief. This approach means that knowledge is retained throughout the process, and the final communications output is grounded firmly in consumer insight.
It allows us to help brands become constantly on the pulse of their target audience and take advantage of opportunities as and when they arise to steal a march on the competition.
